This exhibit prototype combines video of a beehive, olfactory sensations of beeswax, to create a unique experience.

Playful graphics invite visitors to sit and spend time inside "the beehive." Laminated booklets describe what can be seen in the video.

After meeting with internal clients, I sketched a rough idea of the booklet's pages. Within a short timeline of around two weeks, I quickly iterated multiple drafts.

I did visual research and created moodboards, imagining the booklet as taking the guest from the "outside into" a beehive. I then drafted an elevation to help our team visualize what the final exhibit prototype would look like.

The front cover invites guests to pick up a booklet and learn more about the content. Spread 1 introduces the anatomy, types, and general size of a honeybee. Spread 2 describes the different types of ways honeybees use cells inside the hive. Spread 3 diagrams a "waggle dance," a communicative behavior performed by honeybees.
